Marco Polo and Turandot Programmes

The ten-month Italian language course caters to the students who have taken part in the Marco Polo and Turandot programmes.

This combined course supplies students with a thorough knowledge of general Italian, in addition to a focus on Italian art and culture.

This course makes it possible for students to develop the linguistic and cultural background necessary to pass entrance examinations at an Italian University or Higher Education Institution in Art and Music (AFAM).

The 2016-2017 Italian language course consists of 1000 hours of tuition: 800 hours of Italian language classes and 200 hours of preparatory modules, focused on Italian history, art and culture.

The course will run from November 2016 to September 2017.

At the end of the course, students will take an exam to earn their B1/B2-level Italian certificate, which is recognized by Italian universities and AFAM institutes for enrolment.
